Page 24 Réserve Hildegarde Blonde

Dalla Brasserie Saint-Germain, ad Aix-Noulette, nei Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Bel colore dorato, leggermene velato, con una ampia schiuma bianca, fine, cremosa e persistente. Al naso sentori floreali, leggera speziatura ed alcool. Al palato sono invece i malti a dominare, con l'alcool sempre più in evidenza man mano che la temperatura si alza e leggere note fruttate da lievito; una birra che mostra molti più "muscoli" di quanti ne dichiara (alc. 6.9%). Corpo da medio a leggero, termina abboccata con leggere note erbacee e pepate ma anche di cartone bagnato. A parte questo, è una birra dal guasto pulito, discreta, ma anche noiosa. Bottiglia da 75 cl., lotto B021, scad. 11/2011.

From French Brasserie Saint-Germain. Nice golden color with a big creamy white head. Fruity nose with some spices and alcohol. Taste is malty, while alcohol presence gets stronger as beer warms up. Some fruity yeast notes. Medium bodied, bittersweet finish with grassy and peppery notes and some cardboard. Besides this, a decent but boring French beer. 75 cl. bottle, 6.9% ABV, batch B021, b.b. 11/2011
